2009-05-28 - Cyberdata VoIP peripherals now available in SA

Even Flow Distribution, leading national distributor of IP hardware solutions, recently announced a new distribution partnership with VoIP peripheral product manufacturer, CyberData.

"This is a great opportunity to offer a vertically integrated product to our national network of IP Telephony and VoIP resellers, we are proud to be entrusted with this world renowned brand” says Adrian Bush, Managing Director of Even Flow.

CyberData has been in business for over 30 years in Monterey, California. They are a vertically integrated design and manufacturing company that produces IP endpoints for paging and access control for Unified Communications. Their products facilitate legacy migration to VoIP, IP equivalents to existing analog devices, and application specific endpoints that add new functionality to VoIP systems.

 “We have had increased demand from our dealer base for IP peripheral products which can be used on various Telephony platforms, and the CyberData products satisfy this demand with an extensive range of products”, says Bush.

The Cyberdata range of VoIP products include various models of IP intercoms, IP ceiling speakers and IP paging server. The open standard, SIP compliant, nature of the products means they are compatible with various IP PBX brands including Asterisk, Mitel, Nortel, Cisco, Epygi and many more.  All you need is a single cat5 or cat6 wire to the CyberData device from your POE switch and you are ready to configure your CyberData product through their web interface.

These products provide a unified means of IP communication for businesses, schools, factories and anywhere else that overhead paging and access control is needed by surmounting the analogue – digital barrier that once existed.
