Local VoIP hardware distributor Even Flow Distribution, was recently awarded the distributorship for Siemens’ range of home and office communication products in SA.Siemens SA, noting the imminent growth in open-standards IP communication products, says it has secured a partner with an established track record in the VoIP market, and a thorough understanding of the technology driving the revolution in telecommunications.
Even Flow will be distributing the entire range of Siemens corded and cordless IP phones as well as an assortment of IP-based CPE hardware devices. The products will be introduced to Even Flow’s established base of VAR’s and solution providers, as well as targeted at specific VoIP Service Providers.
“Due to the SIP based, open-standards nature of the product range, non-propriety vendors can now leverage an established, renowned brand like Siemens in designing IP business solutions.” Says Adrian Bush, MD Even Flow Distribution.
He adds that the appeal of the products will extend from vendors deploying open-standards PBX solutions such as Asterisk, to larger service providers launching new VoIP offerings.
