The snom 370 VoIP business phone is the latest device to join snom technology’s offering of IP-based enterprise workstations. The new device features a large display, expanded memory and VPN access for better call management.
snom 370’s large display area features built in greyscales for a clearer view and display of more information on the screen. The device's expanded memory capacity will provide users with support for more applications, such as presence indication and presence displays of other users. The phone can support several audio devices simultaneously such as the handset, headset and loudspeaker.
The device has a new provisioning mechanism which allows for the dropping of configuration files and software loads into a file system, to simplify the configuration and management for administrators. Updated security features include direct access to a VPN.
“The high quality, security and customization that snom provides is very attractive to business users,” commented snom's CFO and executive vice president of marketing and sales, Michael Knieling, in a statement.
Knieling continued: “With the addition of the 370 to our line of SIP-based IP business phones, snom is able to provide a business-class phone with a rich feature set at a fraction of the cost of the other VoIP phones on the market today.”
