Are you working in a group, or a team? Here are some ways Skype is making your day just that bit easier.

We’ve developed this nice tool for the person in your group in charge of the money. Now you don’t have to fiddle around with credit cards and payments; instead the group administrator can allocate Skype Credit, SkypeIn numbers and Skype Voicemail to all members of the group. And it’s easy to print nice documents that will keep the people who care about the numbers happy, too.

Making conference calls
Did you know you can make conference calls with Skype? It’s really useful when you want to discuss something with friends or co-workers and you can’t get them all in a room. You can conference call with up to 4 other people at the same time, including those you call with SkypeOut.

Bookmarking chats
Another easy way to keep a group working together is by using multi-chat. Did you know that you can also bookmark a chat? You do that by pressing the blue pin in the top right corner of the Skype chat window. Now you can find the chat using the ‘Tools > Bookmarked Chats’ menu option. It’s a really useful way to keep an open forum for any project you’re working on. And it’s quicker and simpler than emailing.

SkypeIn numbers
Have you thought about the advantages of having SkypeIn numbers? Let’s look at an example. You may live in London, but talk to a lot of people in Sweden. With a Swedish SkypeIn number your friends and co-workers in Sweden could call you from the regular phone network at the local rate, even if you’re in another country. You can have up to five SkypeIn numbers associated with your Skype Name, so wherever in the world you log on, and using whatever computer, people can always reach you on the same number.

Toll-free numbers
Last but not least we now support toll-free numbers. This means that if your company has a toll-free number, everyone that uses Skype can call you for free, from all over the world! At the moment we support toll-free numbers in France, Poland, UK, and USA, and more countries are coming soon.
